The Martin-Langenbeck Elevator offers a wide array of surgical benefits. These benefits are ideal to perform osteotomies and fracture repairing procedures.
For instance, the instrument comes with an atraumatic, tear-shaped tip with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the tip has a slight curve for scraping and elevating periosteum in round surfaces. Also, it is available in multiple sizes, ranging from 5.0 to 10.0mm, allowing surgeons to treat children and adults.
In addition, the device features a hollow handle with a single, deep groove. This particular design is convenient for exerting strong pressure without damaging the periosteum.
