The Adson Cranial Rongeur offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to gouge out small bone pieces, cartilaginous and other adnexal tissues, for exposing the surgical field in an atraumatic way.
For this purpose, the instrument features oval scoop-shaped jaws for debulking the bone with precise bites. In addition, the jaws come in straight and curved profiles, which surgeons can pick according to the surgical approach.
