The Alderdyce Periosteal Elevator offers a wide array of surgical benefits for orthopedic surgeons. These benefits come in handy to perform surgeries that require bone manipulation.
For example, the instrument comes with a double-ended design with a blade at each end. Moreover, one blade has blunt edges and its opposite features a sharp cutting profile. As a result, surgeons can slice and dissect the periosteum, and elevate the tissue without trauma.
In addition, the device features a solid handle with an ergonomic design. Also, the handle turns into two cylindrical shanks at each side that taper at the tips.
