The Bechert Lens Pusher offers a wide array of surgical advantages during phaco and other cataract procedures. These advantages are especially useful for accommodating the IOL in an optimal position.
For this purpose, the pusher features a vertical Y-shaped tip. Moreover, the tip has blunt prongs and the hollow space between them serves to engage the IOL. After that, surgeons can push the lens in the desired way with precision.
In addition, the instrument includes an angled shank. Also, the shank has a tapering design for passing into small incisions and cavities.
