The Berke Ptosis Forceps offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to hold the levator muscle and tendon to modify their insertions and repair ptosis.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of deeply curved jaws designed to conform to the anatomy of the levator muscle. In addition, the jaws are available in 20.0 and 27.0mm lengths to accommodate a variety of patients. Also, the longitudinally serrated profile helps to obtain a firm grip on muscular and tendinous tissues.
