Xelpov’s Bonn Corneal Forceps is a specialized device that ophthalmic surgeons use to grasp, hold and manipulate the scleral edge of the corneal incision and other delicate tissues, in order to suture them during certain ocular surgeries.

The Bonn Corneal Forceps offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to stitch the corneal incision during glaucoma or cataract surgeries.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of very fine, straight jaws that are ideal to manipulate the cornea or guide the suture thread. In addition, the tips of the jaws have 1 x 2 teeth for enhanced tissue holding.
Moreover, the Bonn Corneal Forceps features a spring handle with three circular fenestrations. This ergonomic design helps to prevent accidental slippage and minimizes finger strain.
