The Bracken Irrigation Cannula features a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an efficient way to discharge fluids into certain eye structures during cataract surgery or other procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features a 19 gauge tube with a curved design that follows the corneal contour. In addition, the tube has a flat, bevelled tip that permits a smooth flow of fluids. Also, this particular design prevents accidental local tissue injury.
Moreover, the Bracken Irrigation Cannula features a square-shaped hub handle to manipulate the instrument. Furthermore, the hub works as a connection site between the irrigator system and the tube.
