Description

The Brain Spatula offers a broad range of benefits for neurosurgeons. Its intended use is to maintain two portions of brain parenchyma away from each other, with the purpose of revealing hidden cerebral structures.

To this end, the instrument features a double-ended profile that allows surgeons to perform different surgical approaches. In addition, the edges of the spatula feature a round, blunted design that prevents tissue tearing.

Moreover, the Brain Spatula’s working ends may vary in size, including 12 and 17mm lengths. Also, their malleable profile allows for retracting the brain parenchyma with minimum effort while adapting to the cerebral curvatures.
