The Burford Rib Spreader comes with detachable angled blades for optimum retraction.
Secures and spreads adjacent ribs during thoracotomy to gain better surgical access to internal organs.
Especially includes fenestration in the lateral blades which ensure secure grip with minimum trauma to adjacent tissue. Available with circular and elongated fenestrations to suit different surgical needs.
Moreover, the smooth edges of the instrument prevent inadvertent soft tissue damage. The retracting forceps has an ergonomic design and lightweight for comfortable handling. The lightweight is especially useful for decreasing user fatigue during long procedures.
Includes screw lock which secures the blades at the optimum retraction.
The Burford Rib Spreader is available with multiple size lateral blades to suit different surgical and anatomical needs.
