The Camellin Lasek Trephine offers a broad range of surgical benefits during ophthalmic procedures. Its principal use is to perform a delicate cut over the cornea’s epithelium to create the flap.
For this purpose, the instrument features a circular tip supplied with a semi-sharp edge to avoid local injuries. In addition, the edge has a 270° precalibrated cutting edge that permits to create a 90° flap.
Moreover, the Camellin Lasek Trephine is available in 8, 9, and 10mm working end diameters. As a result, the operator can choose between models to adjust to every patient’s cornea.
