Carter LASIK Cannula
Xelpov’s Carter LASIK Cannula is a specialized device that ophthalmic surgeons use to discharge fluids in the posterior and anterior sides of the corneal flap, in order to clear the surgical view and remove debris after laser ablation.
- Flattened Front Port Ensuring Optimal Irrigation
- Angled Tube to Conform with the Cornea’s Shape
- Ergonomic Tube Hub Promoting Excellent Handling
The Carter LASIK Cannula offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to irrigate the corneal flap during LASIK surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features a delicate 25 gauge tube that permits to wash the flap with smooth solution streams. In addition, the tube angles forward to form a convexly curved tip, which is ideal to pass under the corneal flap. As a result, surgeons can engage in different surgical approaches and wash both sides of the flap.
Moreover, the Carter LASIK Cannula features a tube hub with a hollow passage that allows the flow of fluids. It also works as a connection site between the irrigator system and the tube, which permits further irrigation.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and product performance during surgical procedures.
