The Castroviejo-Colibri Corneal Forceps offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to atraumatically manipulate the cornea to stitch the incision with superior precision.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of very thin jaws that conform to the anatomy of the globe. In addition, the jaws have 1 x 2 delicate teeth that allow for holding the cornea in an optimal suturing spot.

Moreover, the Castroviejo-Colibri Corneal Forceps features a spring handle with fenestrations at each side. This ergonomic design prevents slippage and reduces fatigue during lengthy procedures.
