Description

The Cheattle Sterilizing Forceps offers a wide array of advantages. Its principal use is to transfer either sterilized instruments or packing materials to the surgeon’s hands.

For this purpose, the instrument features smooth-surfaces jaws with a slight angle to prevent slippage of the grasped devices. In addition, a boxlock controls the jaw’s movements, allowing surgeons to close the tips against each other.

Moreover, the Cheattle Sterilizing Forceps features a straight handle with long stems for holding the instruments a safe distance. Furthermore, the finger rings offer outstanding control of the instrument while avoiding surgical fatigue.
