The Corbin Sub-Tenon Cannula offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to block several orbital nerves by irrigation an anaesthetic solution under the Tenon’s capsule.
For this purpose, the instrument features a 23 gauge curved tube that easily traverses the sub-tenon’s space. In addition, the tube has a distal round bore for irrigating the fluids.
Moreover, the Corbin Sub-Tenon Cannula features a square-shaped hub that enhances gripping. Also, the hub works as an attachment site between the silicon rub or irrigation system and the tube. Furthermore, the hub has a hollow passage to permit a smooth flow of fluids.
