Description
The De Vilbiss Cranial Rongeur offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an efficient method for cutting the skull bones without damaging local or underlying tissues.
For this purpose, the instrument features a hook-shaped tip that slides within a slot, thereby ensuring atraumatic cuts. In addition, an adjustable pin attached to the hook permits to modify the hook’s angle to perform different approaches.
Moreover, the De Vilbiss Cranial Rongeur features a plier grip style handle with horizontal ridges. This ergonomic design allows for optimal control of the instrument while minimizing the risk of slippage. Furthermore, one of the handle’s stems has a dorsal thumb horn for resting the finger.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
