The Elliot Scleral Trephine offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to atraumatically separate the corneoscleral junction to perform corneal transplant surgeries and other procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features a circular tip supplied with a sharp, cutting edge. In addition, the tip is available in 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0mm diameters to suit different anatomical variations.
