The Fergusson Suction Tube offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to absorb fluid from cavities, especially during otology procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features a strongly curved profile that enhances sightlines in difficult approaches. In addition, the tube’s diameter ranges from 5 to 15Fr. As a result, surgeons can pick between sizes according to the surgical target.
Moreover, the Fergusson Suction Tube features a thumb depression for holding the device with comfort. Also, the bottom side of the device serves as a connection site with the aspiration system.
