The Foreign Body Eye Magnet and Loop offers a broad range of benefits during ophthalmological procedures. Its principal use is to atraumatically remove foreign objects from the eye’s surface.
To this end, the instrument features a unique double-ended design that allows removing all kinds of objects. For example, one tip consists of a wire loop, ideal to remove debris and non-magnetic bodies. On the other hand, the opposite side has a pencil-like magnet for catching magnetic shards or pieces.
