The Fukasaku Hydrochop Cannula offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use it to meridionally divide the lens nucleus without endangering local tissues.
For this purpose, the instrument features a slim, curved tube that can pass through 0.7mm incisions. In addition, the tube ends in a vertically flattened tip that surgeons insert into the nucleus. After that, the 23 gauge side ports permit force out fine water jets, which results in nucleus division.
Moreover, the Fukasaku Hydrochop Cannula features a square-shaped tube hub that enhances gripping. Also, the hub has an internal passage that permits an adequate flow of fluids between the tube and the irrigator system.
