Description
The Helveston Muscle Hook offers a wide assortment of benefits to the ophthalmic surgeons. These benefits play a vital role while manipulating the muscular and tendinous contents inside the eye socket.
For this purpose, the instrument features a curved hook supplied with an atraumatic blunt end. Moreover, the tip is available in multiple sizes, ranging from 8 to 12mm. Surgeons can insert the hook beneath the desired muscle and retract it to allow its dissection. Also, sutures can pass under the muscle while elevated.
