The Helveston Tissue Retractor offers reliable manipulation of delicate tissues within the ocular cavity. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to expose deep spaces of the operating site.
For this purpose, the instrument features a thin blade with a curved outline, which is ideal to fit the globe’s contour. In addition, the blade is available in 7, 9 and 11mm patterns to accommodate a variety of eyeball sizes.
Moreover, the Helveston Tissue Retractor features a small, straight shaft that enhances the device’s reach. Also, the solid handle includes an ergonomic square-shaped design that reduces fatigue and slippage.
