Hildmann Cartilage Forceps
Xelpov’s Hildmann Cartilage Forceps is a specialized ENT device that surgeons commonly use for holding cartilages, in order to permit their further dissection with a blade and use them as autogenous cartilage plates. This technique is useful to harvest cartilage for myringotomy and tympanoplasty.
- Atraumatic Serrations for Preventing Local Trauma.
- Screw Lock System for Self-Retaining the Tips.
- Thumb Spring Handle Ensuring Maximum Control.
The Hildmann Cartilage Forceps offers multiple surgical advantages. Its principal use is to assist in the dissection of concha and perichondrium cartilages.
For this purpose, the instrument features rectangular jaws that safely hold the cartilage, enabling precise dissection with a surgical knife. In addition, the tips’ inner surfaces have serrations to prevent unintended local damage.
Moreover, the Hildmann Cartilage Forceps features a thumb spring handle design with a screw lock system. As a result, surgeons can self-lock the tips at the desired width before severing the cartilage.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and product performance during surgical procedures.
