The Infusion Cannula offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to preserve the physiological integrity of the eye by instilling saline solutions into the globe.
For this purpose, the instrument features an adaptor tip that surgeons can attach to a silicone tube for deeper approaches. In addition, the tip has a self-retaining angled design and has a 22 gauge port for precise irrigation.
Moreover, the Infusion Cannula features a straight tube that attaches to the distal hole of the silicone tube. Also, it includes a tube hub that connects to an irrigator system.
