The Jaboma Cleft Palate Elevator offers a wide assortment of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to detach periosteal flaps from the maxillary bone.
For this purpose, the instrument features a curved blade with a round tip for lifting large areas or periosteum. In addition, the semi-sharp edges of the blade ensure smooth removal of the periosteum while protecting local vessels.
Moreover, the Jaboma Cleft Palate Elevator features a solid round handle with an ergonomic outline. Also, the handle includes a knurled style pattern that enhances gripping and prevents slippage.
