Description
The Jaeger Lid Plate offers stability and protection for the ocular globe. Its principal use is to cover the eyeball and provide a rigid surface on which surgeons can perform lid dissection.
For this purpose, the instrument features a wide, concave blade that follows the anatomy of the globe. In addition, the smooth surface of the blade prevents injury and traumatic pressure to its underlying tissues.
Moreover, the Jaeger Lid Plate features a shoehorn outline, which is ideal to perform temporal approaches. Also, the ergonomically designed solid handle prevents slippage and fatigue.
