The Jameson Muscle Forceps offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to assist during the modification of the rectum muscles insertions to reposition the eyeball and correct strabismus.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of narrow, angled jaws ideal to reach a variety of small surgical sites. In addition, one side of the jaws has six spikes whereas the opposite site has six matching holes. This particular design provides exceptional holding of muscular fibres and tendinous tissues.
Moreover, the Jameson Muscle Forceps features an ergonomically designed spring handle. As a result, surgeons can close the tips against each other with controlled pressure to minimize trauma.
