Jansen Wound Spreader
Xelpov’s Jansen Wound Spreader is a specialized device that general and orthopaedic surgeons commonly use to preserve the space between the margins of surgical wounds, in order to improve the view of the surgical site.
- 3 x 3 Curved Prongs for Optimal Retraction.
- Concave Arms for Enhanced Surgical Sightlines.
- Adjustment Screw for Self-Retaining the Arms.
The Jansen Wound Spreader offers a wide assortment of benefits for surgeons. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to expose the operative field and its underlying structures.
For this purpose, the instrument features 3 x 3 curved prongs that provide strong retraction force. In addition, the tips of the prongs have a blunt profile to minimize damage to deep layers of tissue.
Moreover, the Jansen Wound Spreader features a butterfly screw to manipulate the arms’ movement. As a result, surgeons can rotate the screw to open or close the arms with smooth movements.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
