The Lacrimal Cannula offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to serve as a hollow channel to allow the drainage of tears.
For this purpose, the instrument consists of a 23 gauge hollow tube with blunt edges, which ease the instrument’s insertion. In addition, the tube features straight and curved profiles to perform different surgical approaches.
Moreover, the Lacrimal Cannula has a bottom hub that works as a handle. The hub serves as a site of attachment for the tube and provides optimal gripping and manipulation.
