Description
The Lane Bone Holding Forceps offers multiple surgical benefits for orthopedic surgeons. These benefits come in handy to perform bone fracture reduction and fixation.
To this end, the instrument comes with 2 x 2 toothed jaws with a square-shaped design. Moreover, the jaws have horizontal serrations on their inner surfaces, which help in grasping the desired bone fragment with ease. Afterward, surgeons reposition the bone fragment and hold it in place for reduction or fixation.
In addition, the device features a plier style handle with a bar ratchet mechanism at its bottom. Also, one of the handle’s shanks has a hook projection where the operator can rest his hand.
