Lange Alar Hook

Xelpov’s Lange Alar Hooks assist surgeons to treat nasal diseases. For instance, the device retracts soft tissues like the nasal ala in plastic surgery. This exposes the nose in order to repair nose fractures and deviations that result from trauma or disease. In addition, it can treat pain and remove infected tissues.

Surgeons place the button hook on the inside of the ala and pull back on the handle. Therefore, we designed the handle with a long and light frame to provide firm grips. Moreover, the flat profile grants comfort and prevents finger strain in long procedures.

We made this hook with a long blade to pass into narrow spaces easily. They end with round buttons in order to pull back tissues without damaging surrounding structures. In addition, the blunt tip has a curved neck so you can see the inside of the nose easily.
