Xelpov’s LASEK Alcohol Cannula is a specialized device that ophthalmic surgeons can use to flush an 18-20% alcohol diluted solution over the corneal surface, in order to produce an atraumatic detachment of the corneal superficial epithelium during LASEK.

The LASEK Alcohol Cannula offers a reliable way to assist ophthalmic surgeons in LASEK surgery. Its principal use is to produce a chemical detachment of the superficial layers of the cornea.
For this purpose, the instrument features a bulbous olive tip that ensures atraumatic irrigation. Additionally, the olive tip attaches to a 25 gauge delicate tube featured with an angle that permits deep surgical approaches.
Moreover, the LASEK Alcohol Cannula includes a square-shaped hub that enhances gripping. Also, the hub’s hollow profile allows to smoothly inject fluids from the irrigation system into the surgical field.
