Long Bone Repositioning Forceps
Xelpov’s Long Bone Repositioning Forceps is a specialized surgical tool that orthopedic surgeons commonly use for holding and stabilizing fractured bone fragments, in order to perform skeletal transfixion.
- Atraumatic Pointed Tips for Avoiding Local Damage.
- Long Ratchet for Adjusting the Clamping Degree.
- Ergonomic Finger Rings Ensuring Maximum Control.
The Long Bone Repositioning Forceps offers a wide array of benefits for orthopedic surgeons. These benefits are especially useful to perform open fracture reduction and K-wire fixation.
For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of long jaws with a slight curve. Moreover, the jaws have pointed tips that grant an atraumatic manipulation of large bone fragments. As a result, surgeons can align the fragments in place prior to the K-wire insertion, ensuring optimal results.
In addition, the device features long, straight shanks that connect the boxlock to the finger rings. Moreover, the finger ring handles help in securing a comfortable grip while reducing fatigue.
All our Long Bone Repositioning Forceps are available in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish.
