The Mayo Safety Pin offers a broad range of sterilization benefits. Its principal use is to provide a secure and efficient way to sterilize ring handle instruments.
For this purpose, the instrument features a slim wire twisted in a hanger-style fashion. In addition, the upper twist forms a circular fenestration to hang the device. Furthermore, the operator can insert the used ring handle devices in the inferior wire, thereby saving space into the sterilization apparatus.
Moreover, the Mayo Safety Pin features a pin lock system, and the wire comes in ball-ended or plain-ended patterns. Each design offers outstanding support and prevents instruments from falling.
