The McPherson Suture Tying Forceps offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to hold, stitch and retract tissues during cataract or glaucoma procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument has a pair of tapered jaws with 5.0mm tying platforms for enhanced holding. In addition, the device features straight or curved jaws patterns to access the anterior chamber from multiple approaches.
