The Micro Alligator Forceps is a scissor-like, grasping instrument that offers a broad range of advantages. Its principal use is to grasp, hold and remove tissues or foreign bodies from the ear cavity.
For this purpose, the instrument features 4.0 x 0.6mm alligator-like jaws that ensure the most secure grasping action. In addition, the jaws are available in multiple shapes and profiles, which helps in performing different surgical approaches. Also, the jaws have serrated or smooth opposing surfaces for clamping different materials and tissues.
Moreover, the Micro Alligator Forceps features slim shafts that form a perpendicular angle with the handle, improving the surgical view. Also, the handle consists of finger rings that avoid slippage and finger strain.
