The Morrison Lens Loop and Probe offers multiple benefits during phaco and other cataract procedures. These benefits are mostly useful for treating patients with concomitant lachrymal conduct pathologies.
To this end, the instrument features a versatile double-ended design. Moreover, one end features a wire lens loop for extracting the lens without trauma. On the other hand, the opposite end has a small blunted probe to check the lachrymal passages during surgery.
In addition, the device has a solid, round handle with a knurled pattern covering its surface. As a result, surgeons obtain strong gripping and prevent finger strain.
