Xelpov’s Nail Curette is a specialized podiatric and chiropody device that the operator uses for scraping dirt, debris and other residuous material from under the finger or toenail, and to cut off portions of the cuticle.

The Nail Curette offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to scrape and cut off tissues from under and over the nail plate.
For this purpose, the instrument features a double-ended profile with dissimilar scoops to scrape tissues from different areas. In addition, the scoops have semi-sharp edges to remove the cuticle and other tissues with precision.
Moreover, the Nail Curette features an ergonomically designed solid handle that enhances gripping. It has a hexagonal design and three of its surfaces include horizontal serrations that prevent slippage.
