Roettgen-Ruskin Bone Rongeur
Xelpov’s Roettgen-Ruskin Bone Rongeur is a specialized surgical tool that orthopedic and neurosurgeons commonly use to scoop out small bone portions and other adnexal tissues, in order to gain access to a cavity or remove diseased bone.
- Slightly Curved Jaws Granting Access Into Narrow Spaces.
- Compound Action Joint for Better Torque at Tips.
- Ergonomic Plier Style Grip Handle Ensuring Maximum Control.
The Roettgen-Ruskin Bone Rongeur offers a broad range of surgical benefits. These benefits are especially important to perform surgeries where access to tissues underlying bones is vital.
For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of solid, curved jaws with sharp-edged opposing surfaces. Moreover, those inner surfaces resemble a scoop. This last feature added to the instrument size, make the rongeur ideal to chip away small bone pieces from large bones.
In addition, the device features a plier style grip handle with horizontal serrations. It comes with a spring mechanism that ensures a comfortable closing and opening action.
All our Roettgen-Ruskin Bone Rongeurs are available in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish.
