For this purpose, the instrument features a cylindrical shape, which offers an exceptional space for containing dressings. In addition, the drum is available in multiple sizes, which range from 140 x 140mm to 390 x 290mm. As a result, operators can choose the adequate drum according to the room available.

Moreover, the Schimmelbusch Sterilization Drum features a cover with a handle and a closing lip. Also, the closing lip helps in securely locking the cover, which avoids accidental dropping.

Furthermore, the sliding removable band hides air vents. When the drum is into the autoclave, the operator removes the band, allowing the steam to flow through the air vents and seep into the dressings.
