- 3 Front Ports Promoting Optimal Irrigation
- Serrated Upper Surface to Fixate Nuclei
- Ergonomic Tube Hub Ensuring Superior Handling
The Sheets Irrigating Vectis offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to engage the divided lens nucleus pieces and remove them from the surgical field.
For this purpose, the instrument features a loop-shaped tip that easily passes under the nucleus. The loop has horizontal serrations for enhanced tissue fixation and its size is ideal to carry nuclei. Also, it has three 23 gauge front ports that irrigate fluids into the capsule to facilitate extraction.
Moreover, the Sheets Irrigating Vectis features an angled profile for accessing the capsule from multiple approaches. Furthermore, the device includes a square-shaped tube hub that allows fluids to flow from the irrigator system to the loop.
