The Silverman Fixation Hook offers multiple benefits for ophthalmic surgeons. These benefits play a vital role during several eye surgeries involving fragile tissues.
For this purpose, the device features two cone-shaped prongs supplied with an atraumatic design. Moreover, the 3mm space between the prongs permits retraction of large tissue layers. Besides, the cone’s semi-sharp tips allow the grasping of the scleral tissue without damaging underlying structures.
