The Simcoe Cortex Extractor offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to keep the surgical field clear from particles and debris during cataract surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features a curved tube profile that is ideal to access the anterior chamber from different angles. Also, the tube is available in 13 and 21mm lengths to reach deeper spaces according to the surgical staff’s needs.
Moreover, the Simcoe Cortex Extractor features a regular or closed tip with an anterior port. In addition, the port has a round design and allows for removing particles and cortical remains with ease. Furthermore, the port is available in 21 and 23 gauge sizes.
