Stevens Sub-Tenon Cannula
Xelpov’s Stevens Sub-Tenon Cannula is a specialized surgical device that ophthalmic surgeons can use to perform the sub-tenon’s block, a surgical technique to deliver orbital anaesthesia.
- Slightly Curved Design for Deep Surgical Access
- Flattened Tip Promoting Reliable Irrigation
- Ergonomic Hub Handle Ensuring Maximum Control
The Stevens Sub-Tenon Cannula offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to infiltrate anaesthesia under the Tenon’s capsule, in order to perform multiple ocular surgeries.
For this purpose, the instrument features a slightly curved tube design that conforms to the globe’s anatomy. Also, the tube has a delicate 19 gauge that permits irrigation of fluids in the smallest cavities. The flattened tip helps to equally distribute the solution in the sub-tenon’s space.
Moreover, the Stevens Sub-Tenon Cannula features a square-shaped hub that permits smooth fluid flow. Also, the hub’s surfaces enhance gripping and prevent accidental slippage during the procedure.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
