The Stieglitz Splinter Forceps offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide a secure way to hold tissues, debris and foreign bodies for their atraumatic removal.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of pointed jaws that ensure access into deep cavities and wounds. In addition, the jaws are available in two different profiles, including straight and curved patterns. As a result, surgeons can reach the surgical target from multiple approaches.
Moreover, the Stieglitz Splinter Forceps’ jaws feature transverse serrations and vertical grooves that ensure a firm grip. Also, the boxlock system allows for closing the jaws against each other with smooth movements.
