The Swedish Periosteal Elevator offers a wide assortment of surgical advantages. These advantages come in handy in dental, maxillofacial and orthopedic surgery.
For example, the elevator comes with two blunt tips connected to a central handle. Moreover, one tip is larger than the other, and have slight opposite curves for fitting small spaces. As a result, surgeons can elevate periosteum and conjunctival tissue from delicate bone surfaces.
