In these procedures, surgeons grasp the handle to rotate the blade on the bony surfaces. This rotation pushes the chuck and its attachment downwards. We made the chuck in order to allow easy attachment of K-wires and drill bits. In addition, a chuck keyhole is available so that you can fix the wire or drill bit in place securely. This prevents accidental slips and slides in critical surgeries.
