Verbrugge Bone Holding Forceps
Xelpov’s Verbrugge Bone Holding Forceps is a specialized surgical tool that orthopedic surgeons commonly use to grasp, hold and mobilize fractured bone fragments, in order to reposition them into their natural alignment.
- One-Sided Serrated Jaws Granting Minimal Adnexal Damage.
- Ratchet Mechanism for Statically Locking the Jaws.
- Ergonomic Finger Rings Ensuring Superior Handling.
The Verbrugge Bone Holding Forceps offers a broad range of surgical benefits. These benefits are important during certain orthopedic surgeries, such as fracture reduction and fixation.
For example, the instrument comes with a pair of atraumatic semicircular jaws. Moreover, one jaw has inner serrations and the opposite has a smooth surface. As a result, surgeons can carefully carry the desired bone pieces and stabilize the fracture.
In addition, the device features straight shanks that connect the boxlock to a ratchet and a pair of finger rings. The ratchet is long and helps in locking the jaws into the required width.
All our Verbrugge Bone Holding Forceps have a curved downward jaw curve that ensures the access into deep cavities.
