The Volkmann Bone Hook consists of a hollow handle and a hook-type working end. Moreover, the single hook has a concave curve to grasp deep structures.
Additionally, the bone retractor features blunt or sharp prong desings. This allows surgeons to pick the appropiate instrument according to the type of tissue being retracted.
In contrast, the ergonomic handle has a central ring and a distal hollow profile. The surgeon inserts his fingers into the hollow spaces, ensuring an optimal gripping.
