The West Lacrimal Cannula offers a reliable way to treat blockage of the tear ducts. Its principal use is to access the lacrimal canaliculus and nasolacrimal duct without damaging local tissues.
For this purpose, the instrument features a 23g slim tube, that includes a fenestration to irrigate fluid. In addition, the tube’s blunt edges help to traverse the desired duct with ease. After that, surgeons can irrigate fluids and flush the duct to remove lacrimal passage obstructions.
Moreover, the West Lacrimal Cannula features a bottom hub with multiple surfaces that enhance gripping. Also, the hub works as a site of attachment for the tube and helps to navigate it across the lacrimal ducts.
