The Williger Periosteal Elevator offers a wide array of surgical advantages. These advantages play a vital role in orthopedic surgeries that involve bone harvesting, repairing or reshaping.
For instance, the instrument features a long, curved blade with semi-sharp edges. Moreover, the blade is available in 5.0 and 7.0mm sizes for cutting bone adnexa in small areas. Also, the curved design is ideal for scraping tissue in round areas and lifting periosteal flaps with ease.
